The Centre is an NGO registered in accordance with Bulgarian Law.
Mission
To create an academic Centre of Excellence focussing on security and defence aspects of South East Europe thereby creating a new and sustainable openness within the Region
Goals
- To create a fully independent, non-political and non-profit NGO that will make use of broad range of local and international experts on issues, vital for regional security.
- To attract and train the next generation of security experts who have a proven intellectual interest in defence and security matters.
- To provide the appropriate balance of local and international experts who have an extensive multilateral experience on a variety of related security topics.
- To stimulate debate in the professional defence and security communities of the region on the security challenges of the 21st century and to make recommendations on what measures need be adopted to achieve real and positive changes for the general good.
